Bladder Cancer - Signs, symptoms and causes
-Bladder cancer may have the following symptoms:
Blood in the urine (hematuria) - urine may appear dark red yellow, bright colored or cola or urine may appear normal, but blood can be detected in a urine microscopic examination
frequent urination
painful urination
Urinary tract infections
abdominal pain
Back pain
Bladder Cancer - Treatment
The choice of treatment of bladder cancer depends on the stage of the cancer, the overall health status.
Surgery to remove the tumor and a small portion of the bladder.
Chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is a treatment that uses chemicals to kill cancer cells.
Radiation. Using powerful radiation of energy beams such as x-rays, to kill cancer cells.
